ESTUDIA is a record of studies produced by pen name Leunam Onemrez. The domain was established to urge the importance of the unfinished and the process of making by hand. The studies range from hand drawings to collages and physical models. They are often influenced by architecture, interiors, art, culture, memory, and the every-day. Selected works have been featured in galleries in New York City, Los Angeles, and Princeton.
Leunam Onemrez is trained as an architect and has collaborated on projects with offices in New York City and Los Angeles. They earned their Master of Architecture II from Princeton University School of Architecture where they received the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Prize in 2022. They earned their Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2016. They continue to produce work by hand and is now based back in Los Angeles where they are constantly influenced by their Mexican-American heritage.
